Hello friends and happy Tuesday! I hope everyone had a good day. As I mentioned yesterday, the entire month of April will be dedicated to all things Jennifer L. Armentrout, or as I like to call it, Armentrout April. Why? Because I want to read all her books this year and I like alliteration. So today’s Top Five will be somewhat short and sweet. I’ve read a good chunk of her books so far and I want to list my favourites both at the beginning and end of this month to see if any of my new reads will change any of that. Sound like a good plan? I thought so too.

Here is today’s Top Five Tuesday: JLA Books I’ve Read So Far!

This series is the first JLA series I ever read and Be With Me was by far my favourite of the bunch. I loved Teresa’s character so much and admired her strength and Jace was a hottie of a character. Their relationship was amazing and the book overall was purely fantastic. It really solidified how much I love Armentrout as an author, I think.

Lux is an insane series itself, but Opposition was the only book that I gave 5 full stars to and there are so many reasons. The plot twists, the epic conclusion, the character development, the romance, ugh everything! Such a fantastic ending to a beyond fantastic series.

I don’t think I ever cried as much reading a book as I did with this one. The entire story was beautiful and hit me in so many ways that I couldn’t even go 50 pages without wanting to cry. It’s like Armentrout got inside my brain and almost wrote a book for me. I loved Mallory and her entire development and all the messages this book had to offer.

This series was kinda up and down for me but this final book knocked it all out of the park. To say it was an emotional book is a bit of an understatement. Once again, Armentrout brought so many insane plot twists out in this book and developed her characters in such a fantastic way. I also loved seeing more of the gods in this one and the ending kinda ripped my heart out but in a good way.

5. OBLIVION (LUX #1.5)

I know I mentioned a Lux book already, but I have such a special place in my heart for this one because it’s the entire first book told from Daemon’s POV and it’s like a dream come true. I love when authors give us the same story but from a different POV because you get to see how the other person thought and felt and I loved seeing everything Daemon was thinking. I just love Daemon in general.

Well, those are my top JLA books that I’ve read so far! I’ve yet to be disappointed in any of her books so far and I’m hoping that doesn’t change any time soon.

Until next time,
