Hello friends and happy Thursday!

I am so excited to do this post you have no idea. So, a couple weeks ago I did a post about my goals for the new year and in that post I mentioned that I decided to get an Owlcrate subscription and once I got my box, I would talk about it on my blog. Well, ladies and gents, it’s time to talk about my very first Owlcrate box! Or, as I’m told, to unbox my Owlcrate box. Unboxing this might have been the most magical thing I’ve ever done and honestly it just reassured my decision in subscribing. I can’t wait to show you all what I got so let’s get into it!

So, this is everything that I received in my Owlcrate. Isn’t it laid out so nicely? It definitely did not take ten tries to do this in two different locations with three different layouts. Nope. (Ok, maybe it did but bookstagramming is hard!) The theme for this month was Magical Artifacts, meaning that all of the items (I assume) are some kind of artifact that is special or magic in some way in the context of the series or is related to whatever artifact but is placed on a different medium. The box also included a copy of The Gilded Wolves by Roshani Chokshi (signed!) and I cannot tell you how excited I am to read this book. It sounds like it could be very Six of Crows-esque and is definitely a highly anticipated read for me.

An antler bracelet inspired by Shadow and Bone!
A wooden sword letter opener inspired by Lord of the Rings!
An enamel pin inspired by The Gilded Wolves!
A zipper pouch inspired by A Darker Shade of Magic!

The box also included a luggage tag inspired by The Gilded Wolves, socks inspired by Harry Potter, and a wall tapestry inspired by The Golden Compass. So much prettiness all in one box! It also included a little sneak peek of next month’s box and it sounds like it could be yet another amazing one. I think I’ve reached my peak nerdiness by getting this subscription but I’m also living my best life. This was such a good decision and if you’re hesitant on getting one yourself, just do it. I have no regrets whatsoever.

Until next time,
